Recruiting Approach & Methodology


The recruitment agency application process starts with your inquiry. Browse through the open positions, select the position(s) that you would like to apply for.  At this point, you will be prompted to log in to your user account or create an account in The Global Edge system.  It is required that you create an account profile the first time you apply for a position on our website.  When you revisit the site and wish to apply for additional positions, simply log in to your account.

Candidate Pre-Qualification

Once your resume has been submitted through our website, your information can now be viewed by our team of experienced recruiters.  During this phase of the process, you could be contacted via email or phone call to provide additional information.  Unsuccessful applications will be uploaded to an internal database and candidates may then be shortlisted for other potential opportunities.


The recruitment team will reach out to online applicants that meet the minimum candidate qualifications for the position.  A recruiter will conduct an interview with you to obtain pertinent information such as salary or rate requirements, availability and technical qualifications.

Supporting Documentation

Prior to your recruiter submitting your resume for candidacy to one of our clients, you will be asked to supply professional references.  We will also need to obtain a statement from you granting your recruiter and The Global Edge the right to represent you and confirming you are agreed upon compensation.  Your recruiter will guide you through this process.

Interview Process

Once you have granted The Global Edge the right to present you, your recruiter will follow-up with the client to obtain feedback on your application.  If you are selected to move forward in the qualification process, your recruiter will work with you on arranging interviews and preparing you for your meeting with your potential employer. A comprehensive review of our benefits package and explanation into what we offer as a complete service agency.

Offer Phase

If you are selected for hire by the client, your recruiter will coordinate the negotiating process and finalize terms on compensation, start date, mobilization, relocation, and any other special conditions.

Offer Acceptance

Once you have verbally accepted an offer, your recruiter will work with The Global Edge Support Team to facilitate your on-boarding. During this phase of the process, you will hear from several representatives within The Global Edge to coordinate offer letters, employment contracts, benefits enrollment, HR documentation and support, payroll and mobilization or relocation if necessary.


The Global Edge will be in contact with you throughout the transition process.  This can be a stressful time, but our support staff and your recruiter will be with you every step of the way.

Your First Week on the Job

Congratulations! During this time you will be hearing from your recruiter to see if The Global Edge can be of any further assistance and to promote an ongoing professional relationship.

Client Feedback

Positive or negative, we always aim to gather feedback from all applications.  All clients have different ways of processing successful candidates (e.g. interview arrangements).  The consultants aim is to keep the candidate informed during the entire process regardless of its duration.
